Some course builders don’t have this feature, but Kajabi offers users the ability to create websites to host their content. As there is a lot of potential in selling courses, it also offers a slew of marketing and sales tools to promote them to a wider audience. Kajabi allows you to do many things.
- You can either build your courses from the templates provided or create them from scratch.
- You can create any type of website you like to display your content. It could be your homepage/store, your course content landing page, or a space for customers to visit. Tax Id In Kajabi
- Sell any type of product whether they be free as a bonus, charged with competitive one-time payment pricing, or as subscriptions; and
- Make use of its range of marketing, reporting, and sales functions to acquire a wider reach from sales funnel blueprints to affiliates.

Kajabi is the reason I personally use it. It allows me to create, host and sell content I feel confident in putting out. But, either way, its impressive capacities have created this service a leading platform for sharing new things with people from all walks of life.
Kajabi’s Pricing Plan
Kajabi currently offers three pricing options:
- The Basic Plan costs just $119/month and is billed annually starting here.
- The Growth Plan, priced starting at $159/month, and
- The Pro Plan, which costs $319/month.
The Basic plan allows you to create three products and three sales funnels. You can also create unlimited landing pages, marketing e-mails and gain up to 1000 customers.
The Growth Tier allows you to explore most of the features, plus upgrades like 10,000 customers, ten administrators for one site, advanced automations and the Kajabi affiliate programme. You can also remove all Kajabi branding and from your website and courses.
Meanwhile, Kajabi Pro further expands the number of features with access to the code editor, on top of level-up upgrades like an allowance for 100 products and 100 funnels, 20,000 customers, three websites, and a total of 25 admin users.
It cannot currently offer a completely free plan, which may be unfortunate for those who may be wondering if there ever was one. Kajabi offers a 14-day free trial on all of its plans. If you are interested in giving it a try, this is the time to do so.
Kajabi is often criticized for its high price range. Some platforms offer premium plans at half or even a quarter of the cost of Kajabi’s Basic tier. Those who have encountered Kajabi’s premium plans may find the pricing a bit of a reach, especially for the first time. Based on my experience, however, I can empathize somewhat with Kajabi’s premium plans. It went above and beyond with its services, user experience, and pricing.

Kajabi understands the struggle many creators often face, so that’s why it took extra steps to ensure that everything goes according to plan, all while easing the difficulties most individuals can relate to. Courses as Products
In Kajabi’s terms, products refer to any type of digital course you’re bound to make. You can also use it to refer to other forms of the course content. On one hand, some similar platforms refer to those products as, simply, courses, given their more educational nature. Kajabi on the other hand, understands the importance of the term. It’s not only the amount of knowledge that goes into making a product feasible, but also how it sells to people around the world.
Kajabi currently offers seven types of products. Each product can be used as a template or blueprint that you can immediately generate and modify. An Online Course is one of these. You can create as many lessons, media files and information as you like. The other is, straight-up, a Blank blueprint where you can simply start from scratch and add whatever you wish to add.
Apart from the main course and blank template, other product blueprints offered by Kajabi include:
- Mini-courses – for whenever you want to produce a quick, easy-to-digest course as a freebie or bonus, something to build extra value for your brand and anticipation for what’s to come
- Evergreen Training, also known as Drip Courses gives you a strategic framework. Course lessons are released regularly, preferably over a number of weeks.
- The Coaching Program is designed by Wall Street bestseller Brendan Burchard. It allows you to create a 12-week coaching program to help you improve your skills.
- Membership – for when you want to store all your content in one central platform where your subscribers can explore anytime
- Community – for when you want to create a space where you and your members can communicate and share thoughts about your courses and more
The Course Building Process
Once you have chosen your preferred product template, it is time to start building your course. Add whatever else is needed. Whether you do it from scratch or tailor it from an existing template, the next best thing you must do is incorporate all the knowledge and skills you’ve collected through the years into an information-enriched course.
Kajabi’s page for course builders will allow you to explore many customization and editing options. You may add the title of the course as well as the sections that make up the course, upload a thumbnail or poster image that suits what you’re aiming and adjust the flow of your entire outline.
Additionally, you may upload downloadable PDFs, attach media files, utilize bulk uploads powered by cloud storage software, and add e-mail automations, among other things. In its Drip Courses, especially, you may choose the Drip option to set the release duration of the categories within a few days or even a week from each other. You may also opt for the Lock feature to block students’ access to any category unless they finish a prerequisite.
Explore Kajabi’s Course Players
For every course, there needs to be a place where they can be presented for anyone to see, click, and go further – and an attractive one, too. Kajabi’s Course Player feature provides a platform that allows you to store and display your products to students who have subscribed. The customization capabilities extend beyond the courses themselves and into the course player, encouraging a better learning experience for everyone involved.
Kajabi offers over 10 themes for default course players. You may find that most platforms only offer three themes, or one in-store. Comparing that to Kajabi’s larger range will immediately show the difference. It has more options. While Kajabi may seem too expensive for many, we can still appreciate the privilege it offers us. Choose any of the course player themes, and you’ll be given the chance to customize it however you want it to look, from the images and colors down to the fonts and graphics. Kajabi values convenience above all else, so you don’t have to know how to code to make your course player look great. Or, if you’re better equipped with web design skills, you may opt to upload your fully-personalized theme instead!
Instructor-Student Interactions and Assessments
Communication is key to a student’s success and a means to gain the trust of the instructor. Kajabi offers many ways for members and you to interact. The Community feature is one of these. You can offer it as a separate product or as part of your membership package. It functions like a social media page where you and your subscribers write, see who’s online, share posts, and make comments relating to the lessons you’ve put out. Another comes in the form of comments under every lesson – you may choose to manage, hide, or even disable them altogether.
A surefire way to keep your members engaged is through assessments, which involves creating quizzes based on the lessons you’ve taught them to stimulate their minds. There are different types of questions that you may use to create an assessment, from multiple-choice questions to paragraph fill-ins. You may even set a passing score to encourage your students to do better… or don’t at all if you’re not into giving them more pressure.
As great as Kajabi’s assessment feature may seem, it’s a bit apparent that it may fall short a bit when it comes to delivery. Kajabi appears to be the only course-building service that doesn’t offer native certification tools, which is a significant difference from other services. It’s not something I mind, but it may be a problem for those who enjoy giving out certificates. This one asset would have been a great way to reward students for their accomplishments, such as finishing the course.
Website Building Tools
Aside from course-building, another important aspect of Kajabi is its ability to house powerful yet simple tools for creating a website. Kajabi’s built-in website builder allows you to create and customize your website without having to rely on third-party providers. The platform offers free hosting for all plans.
The Kajabi website builder is also easy to navigate, although there are times when the interface can be a bit confusing. The drag-and-drop techniques apply to the editor, but it’s not what you would expect – instead of the usual “drag the blocks/widgets from the menu and drop them into the workspace,” you just drag to rearrange sections of a page from the top to bottom on the left-hand menu, and the workspace, once updated, will reflect the change.
Website Design and Customization
Kajabi’s website creator allows you to choose from 14 themes (eight regular themes and six heritage themes) along with a complete set of pages. Once you’ve found the theme of choice for your website, you may go ahead and customize it however you want based on your flow or vision. Tax Id In Kajabi
This can be done by adding or removing each page’s construction blocks. These include many types of content like text and font styles as well as media widgets, pricing and offers, FAQs and testimonials. You have the ability to add or delete any page from any Kajabi-optimized template. You have more options than just landing and home pages. These include a log-in page and thank-you screen, portfolio, FAQ and policies pages. You can also create a blog page if blogging is part of your specialty or skill. This allows you to compile all your published posts into an archive that readers have access to at any time.
Blogging Capabilities
Speaking of blogging pages, did you know that Kajabi has a built-in blogging feature that allows you to create posts and publish them for anyone to see? Blogs can be used to publish articles on a wide range of topics. Well, Kajabi’s version has much of the same purpose.

It functions similarly to that of well-recognized blogging platforms such as WordPress – you type in the words you want to say, the media files and links you want to share, and the tags for which you think your post is more appropriate. Once everything’s ready, you may have the option to either publish it immediately, post it as unlisted, or set a schedule to save time. Kajabi’s blogging feature may not have the same dynamic prowess as WordPress’s, but it’s functional enough for anyone to use.
Marketing, Sales, and CRM
In course management, how you market and sell your products can either make or break your brand standing. An effective marketing strategy has a better chance for your creations to gain clout and revenue. A poorly organized strategy can lead to low to no turnouts. The process of planning how to make products as sellable as possible can be such a daunting task, and Kajabi remedies this by providing an impressive suite of marketing and sales tools designed to maximize your platform and ease your convenience. It is also surprising to me that it outperforms other top competitors in this field.
Convenient Sales Pipelines
A well-designed sales funnel could lead to better opportunities for your business, but designing one can be quite a struggle, especially if you’re not that well-versed in marketing stuff. Kajabi’s pre-made, well-designed pipelines are ready to use and customizable. There are 14 templates in total, seven of which are default and seven for legacy templates.
Each one is tailored to your product promotion needs. You may give away freebies to your potential subscribers to keep them interested, show your courses in a way they can be tempted to purchase, coach them, or hold a Zoom meeting. Sales pipeline blueprints are a big help in generating leads and increasing traffic leading to my content, and I honestly have never been glad to be able to use them.
Kajabi’s collection selling pipelines, like other popular courses platforms, are simple and straightforward. The blueprints are automatically created for you, so it doesn’t take any special skills. A Kajabi sales funnel contains cards, which, in turn, contain pages, automations, and sequences that your customers will be greeted upon.
E-mail Marketing and Automations
E-mail marketing is a reliable strategy for businesses of any size. It can be used to promote new releases by musicians or to update your customers about new and current items at your favorite retailers. The same can be said for courses and other learning materials – Kajabi’s built-in e-mail marketing feature helps keep your members and potential customers highly engaged with the content you’ve released.
There are two types of e-mail campaigns you might want to explore: e-mail broadcasts for whenever you want to send a single e-mail related to your courses to your subscribers (like a newsletter), and sequences where you create messages to be sent based on the user’s activity via automations. Automations generally exist to ease the burden of your duties – in this case, you wouldn’t have to manually send e-mails as you can schedule them corresponding to students’ actions. Kajabi’s email sequencing feature allows you to create messages and choose the time they should be sent. You can also tag subscribers that meet certain conditions and put them into different categories.
Campaigns and automations aside, did you know that you can also create e-mails within Kajabi? The platform has a variety of templates that you can choose and use, and its e-mail editor allows you to edit how you want it to look the same way you’d do with website pages – tweak the hierarchy of your building blocks from top to bottom, add sections, and, if you have an eye for design, switch up the color palette and upload images to further set the mood.

CRM for managing members
Managing individuals who are subscribed to your courses can be a pain, and even more so if the provided platform for it is unstable. Kajabi and other course management tools have functional CRM (customer relationship management) tools.
Kajabi’s CRM section, also known by its term People if you sign in, allows you to check on the activities of your members from afar. You can see who bought your products, who subscribed to your membership and track their progress. You can also see who has been inactive longer.
You may also explore one of your students in full depth by checking their profile. Here you can see the student’s life, how long they have been enrolled in your course, and detailed information such as when and where they signed up. Kajabi’s People feature can be useful in checking who has performed poorly and giving them a boost with feedback notes and, if necessary, a few freebies to get them back on track.
Kajabi’s CRM features go beyond the People dashboard. Course assessments and affiliate management are included in the bundle. The former has been discussed in detail before, but the latter is something we are about to discover.
Kajabi Affiliate Program
A successful business creates the opportunity to recruit affiliates as a way to expand its reach. The Kajabi Affiliate Program is only available to Pro and Growth plan users. It provides them with a few resources to help transform their members into trusted affiliates for your brand. You simply need to convince your most active students to sign up for the program. They may also be eligible to receive a portion of your earnings.
With Kajabi Affiliates, not only could you get to build a stronger following. Your chances of increasing your conversion rate and generating more clicks could be higher with Kajabi Affiliates. If you’re already established in the industry you’re working in, you might find this one practical as you can manage and track your affiliates and how they’re doing to boost your leads and profit from the comforts of a specialized separate dashboard. While I can understand why they needed to make cuts to maintain their business model, it is a problem for edupreneurs who want to grow and are keen to improve. Kajabi offers a solution that will allow them to grow, despite their high price tag. You can control how refunds are handled, in addition to the advantage of keeping your earnings private. Kajabi doesn’t have to be strict about this, and allows its users to make their own decisions. They can let their members access their content even after they request a refund.
Kajabi offers native integrations with the payment gateway outlets Stripe and PayPal. Because PayPal is a common method of online payment, Stripe handles credit and debit cards. You may have to pay service fees for the payment gateway that you use. Technically, your revenue would be deducted, but not significantly.
Do you want to get in-depth insight to improve your business? Kajabi’s analytics and reporting features may be just two of the numerous ways to achieve this. The Cons
- It has a higher price range compared to other course-building platforms – this is because it follows a different framework and business model that doesn’t resort to burdening the user
- It does not have a native tool for recognizing students. It also lacks assessment features, such as the inability of setting the length of each question or uploading question files.
- It lacks advanced features like custom tracking for affiliates and inventory tracking, but it does have a management feature.
- Though flexible and easy to use as the interface may seem, some of its functions may be confusing to use at times
